Calligraphy differs from computer graphics because of its quality and unquestionable originality. An inscription carried out by hand communicates so much more than a standard typography. This volume presents a collection of inscriptions, titles and signs found in work in diverse commercial sectors, such as packaging, fashion, the publishing industry and graphic advertising in general. An international line-up of twenty-three professional calligraphers (including Italian, Spanish, Argentine and Swiss calligraphers) have contributed to the featured projects, all clearly divided into different subject areas.
