Straight from Zandro Tumaliuan's sketchbooks, this coffee table book contains drawings done while on personal and business trips in England, France, the United States, the Philippines and around his own backyard, Canada. He prefers historic buildings and buildings with character. Rather than taking photos, as an urban sketching aficionado the artist prefers to draw the scenery, the active street scenes, and the unique buildings that he sees.
He is not particular with the details, such as the number of floors or the number of windows. Because sketches are done on site, there is always the challenge of finding a good spot and having enough time to capture the "soul" of a structure. Some of his sketches are simple, others are elaborate.
