"The Mama Tree" is a story about the meaning and blessing of adoption told by five-year-old me. This story is beautifully illustrated to help readers see how adoption is part of God's plan and He is with us always! When I was little, my brother asked my Mama about his adoption story and I was able to give him the "whole story" and used my imagination to help him see the beauty of adoption.
Her first book, "The Purpose Puzzle" was written for adult readers and while writing it, she felt the Lord wanted her to write a children's book about adoption. This is the second book written by Julie K. She also wanted the perfect illustrator to help bring her story to life, so she asked 21-year-old Jackson Hill and he agreed.
