It's a wonderful collection of guidance that is relevant today just as it was long ago. The Havamal was the first book I read when researching into the Old Norse religion. I have attempted my best to translate these ancient words into modern-day English that most speakers could understand, while only interpreting the meaning of words into understandable grammar for English.
