The design freedom of contours and the plastic volume of blobs have long since superseded the purely orthogonal towers of the past.Most current projects are being implemented in the Arab-Asian realm, such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world\'s highest building. Since the turn of the millennium they are again among the most prestigious and coveted architectural challenges.
