Robin Talbot grew up near Philadelphia, moved to Maryland for college, met and married Joe, a charming "southerner". Upon his father's death, the son is comforted with the knowledge that the bond still holds and hope and love endures, even in a great time of loss and sadness. Already parents to Patrick, while home on maternity leave with her second son, Sean, during a blizzard Joe was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer.
