The clear and flinty bouquet is coolish and spicy-mineral with concentrated white fruit and some nutty aromas. Lush, round and very elegant on the palate, with a dense, juicy-piquant and well structured texture, this is a rich but vital, stimulatingly salty Liebenberg with gorgeous grip and impressive tension. A great Veltliner from the 2017 vintage. Tasted in Unterloiben, Wachau, September 2018."
