Johnny and the Best Day Ever Curry Robert
Robert Curry has been a children's storyteller for over thirty years for students and teachers in elementary schools and campers and staff in summer camps. When his daughters were very young, he would tell them a story before bedtime, usually stories familiar to all that have been told over the decades and even the centuries. Johnny is the result of those stories.
Over the years, more and more stories came about, and he was repeatedly asked if he had published a book. One night they asked him to make up a new story and Johnny and his magic ring were born. A teacher, whom Curry had known since her childhood, challenged him to publish a "Johnny book." Struggling to select which stories to use and how to put them together, he finally had an idea for the book while traveling back home from Africa.
