In 2015, the city was named "Home of English Sport" and in the same year was named a UNESCO City of Literature, one of only a handful in the world. But there's more to Nottingham than lace and legends.
Local photographer, Peter McConnochie lives here and knows the city's streets and squares, its lanes and alleyways. Today the city is a thriving hub of retail and commerce, with many independent shops and buzzing bars and caf s, and boasts two successful universities. Charged with capturing the essence of Nottingham, he has turned his camera on its inhabitants, the people who make it what it is today.
