It can determine the heights of objects, angles, direct and horizontal distances as well as the speed of moving targets – for the latter function, the device has a separate unit of measurement km/h in addition to the standard meters and yards. The rangefinder uses a class 1 laser with a 905nm wavelength – in the infrared range, which is invisible to the human eye and relatively safe for vision.
