Influenced by abstract expressionism and color field paintings, she developed a pictorial language informed by extensive travel. Annette Werndl: Color is my Music collects her recent works, many of them inspired by sojourns in the United States and by jazz, blues, and pop.Born in Germany in 1956, Werndl worked as an interior designer before pursuing a career as an artist.
