Lucy Maud Montgomery was born on 30th November 1874, New London, in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. Anne's strong character and vivid imaginaton both help and hinder her as she makes her way through life on the island.These early works by Lucy Maud Montgomery, originally published between 1908 and 1915, are now republished here with a brand new introductory biography.
