Due to its minimal distortions, the plan aromatic objective can also be used for digital photography and together with wide-field eyepieces (22mm field of view). This objective is used for studying samples from 1µm over a wide field of view, e.g., in urine or blood tests (determination of leukocytes, erythrocytes, cylinders, and other constituents).
The field curvature is corrected for 90% of the field of view diameter. The MAGUS MA20 20x/0.40 objective has chromatic correction for blue and red, and corrected spherical aberration for green. It is recommended to use 10x to 20x magnification eyepieces with the objective.
The thickness of the cover glass for observing with this objective is 0.17mm.
