The words used are not typically proper book-English but in plain southern spoken English. These notes are anchored in the specific words and intent of the 4 written Gospels but also showing the interrelationship among these 4 Gospels along with related Law and earlier prophesy along with the works of Paul. Her work in John is especially useful to a Christian's first look at the Bible because on one hand John is beautiful but on the other hand, John is really hard to follow.
