His parents then take Jerry on a step-by-step journey explaining just how people can become a friend of God. When I first read this book, I fell in love with Jerry and his story. I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of sharing this critical message with children and their families about how easy it truly is to find joy in the Lord. Like Jerry, I came to Jesus around 4 years old, while sitting in bed talking to my mom and dad. I related to Jerry and his curiosity about God and His goodness.
